Mary
G. Mock
Director,
Teacher
Ms.
Mary is
a graduate of Penn State University with a B.A. in Elementary
Education.
She studied dance at the David Blight School of Dance (all phases of
dance),
Luzerne Community College (mid-eastern dance), Penn State (modern and
jazz), Centre County Ballet (ballet/pointe), Wilkes-Barre Ballet Center
(ballet), and Dance Workshop of Hazelton (ballet/pointe). While
studying
at the David Blight School of Dance, she was a member of two award
winning
competition groups. She has been a choreographer and assistant director
of plays and choral concerts such as Hello Dolly, South Pacific, and
Guys
and Dolls at SHS and Godspell, Oklahoma, Carousel, and Barefoot in the
Park for her high school and college. Mary has taught all phases of
dance
for the David Blight School of Dance, Dance Workshop of Hazelton, YMCA
Enrichment Program, Fabergé Follies, Falls Road Dance Studio and
Prettyboy, Sparks and Fifth District recreation programs. She has
served
as talent judge for such competitions as Talent Olympics, Performers on
Parade, and Performing Arts Alliance. She now supports over 60 award
winning
students who compete at local competitions. At these competitions, Mary
has received titles such as Best and Original Choreography, Best
Costumes,
High Energy Award and the achievement of the largest number of winners.
Mary continues her dance education by participating in teacher seminars
one of which is the Robert Christoper Seminars.

Molly Blevins
Ms.
Molly is currently a senior at York College of Pennsylvania
majoring in nursing. She
has been dancing and teaching at MgM Dance Studio for 16 years.She has
competed in ballet,jazz, tap, modern, lyrical ans tumbling. Molly
enjoys building the dance foundation of the youngest dancers at the
studio.

E C Goode
Ms. EC., a
native of
Baltimore, began
her
dance training with her sister and performed throught the tri state
area.
She continued her dance education while attending the University of
Maryland.
EC then studied under such greats as Jimmie Thurston, Jason Taylor and
Tryone Muarry. She continued performing in NYC while studying for a
Master's
Degree at NYU. There she was asked to join the Eleo Pomare Dance Co.
She
received a degree in administration and worked in the Urban Contemorary
Department communicating with the DJs across the copuntry on a weekly
basis.
She was then offered a position with Sesame Street Live where she
toured
throughout the US and abroad. Currently she is teaching throughout the
Baltimore/ Washington area.(teaching yoga and pilates at health clubs
along
with other special movement classes) EC has acquired her AFAA
certification
for group exercise.

Amanda Faloni
Ms.Amanda started her career in
modeling at the age of 14. She modeled for a Baltimore Agency
where she became interested in pageants. At her first pageant she
finished in the top 5. She then went on as Miss Maryland to compete in
Las Vegas, Nevada for the finals placing in the top 8 and runner up in
photogenic. As a result of working in a local gym she took off in the
field of fitness. In 2007 Amanda became certified as a personal
trainer. She is ISSA certified as a Fitness Instructor/Personal
Trainer, and a specialist in Performance Nutrition. I work out of PA
Fitness, and truly enjoy training these wonderful girls at MgM.
Amanda's spare time is devoted to her husband, John and two
beautiful chrildren., Chris and Dani.

Katie
Hoyt
Ms.
Katie received
her Bachelor of Science in Ocean Science
and Coastal Studies with a minor in Biology and Geology from
Millersville University. While at Millersville, she joined the
Millersville University dance team . Katie helped choreograph all
basketball tryouts,additional routines and hip hop sections of the
national routines. She also joined an all girl hip hop team (Essence)
where they competed in multiple competitions thoughout the Philly area.
Her love of dance started with the theatrical group of the Stewartstown
United Methodist Churchwhere shewas in "Joseph and the Amazing
Techincolor Dream Coat", "Once Upon aMattress", "Godspell", "Fiddler on
the Roof", and "Meet Me in St Louis". Katie started dance classes at
MgM at the age of 12. From a regular dance class she moved to the
competion groups of Starfire and Galaxy. Dancing became her love. She
went from assistant teacher to teacher. Katie also taught at
Wanda's Baton Studio. After realizing how much I missed teaching, I
decided to return to MgM and am very excited to continue the
passion and love of dance I first found at MgM and share it with
new and former students.(2010-2011)

Michelle
Joyce
Ms.
Michelle has a
bachelor degree in Journalism from Towson University.
Her dance education began at the age of 6 at Kathleen’s Dance Center in
Annapolis. Michelle joined the competition team at the age of 12. She
competed
in tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical. She also studied pointe at Maryland
Hall
for the Creative Arts in Anapolis. She began her teaching
experience
at the age of 14 at Kathleen’s Dance Center where she taught students
between
the ages of 3 and 9. At the age of 18 Michelle auditioned for and was
accepted
into Dance Caravan. Dance Caravan is a traveling company which hosts
master
classes and competitions throughout the country. She would travel to 16
cities in 8 weeks. While with Dance Caravan she performed with Mallory
Graham and Tommie Walsh and assisted Jerry Rose, the ballet
instructor.

Amy
Katchko
Ms.
Amy
earned
her bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance, Choreography,
and
Education from Towson State University and performed in their dance
company.
She has a teaching certificate in both Dance and Early Childhood
Education.
She has taught ages 3 to adult at several professional schools such as
Caryl Maxwell Classical Ballet and The Ellicott City Ballet Guild,
Patty
Neivery School of Dance and Western Maryland College. Amy received her
ballet training at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet where she also
gained valuable performing and teaching experience.

Tami
Kroh
Ms.
Tami is a
graduate of Keystone Jr. College with an A.A. Degree
in Early Childhood Education and a graduate of Millersville University
with a B.A. Degree in Psychology. She has studied jazz, ballet,
and tap at the former Moore Family School of
Dance for ten years. She has performed and received awards in various
talent
shows and competitions through her life. Tami has attended a variety of
dance workshops as well. She started teaching with MgM in 1995 for many
different group levels and up until her “last” recital in 2002, was
director
of some competition groups as well. Besides spending time at the
studio,
Tami has a full time job as an Admistrative Secretary for WellSpan
Women & Parent Education. Returning by popular demand (2006) after
a 4 year
“retirement”

Christina Lane
Ms.
Christina
received her bachelor of
Fine Arts
degree in Dance Performance
and Certificate of Education from Goucher
College
in Baltimore,Maryland. While at Goucher, Christina had the opportunity
to perform under the dirrection of Rachel Bermum (Paul Taylor
Dance
Company - NYC) and Janice Garrett (San FRansisco, California) Christina
also performed faculty and student-choreographed pieces throughout her
four years at Goucher College. Christina choreographed and became
Vice President of the award winning competitive dance team at Goucher
College. Originally from New Jersey, Christina started
her
dance
career as a
competitive gymnast in the United States Association of Gymnastics
(USAG).
After eleven years of competing, Christina joined a nationalloy
ranked competitive dance troupe and started competing in all dance
techniques.
In high school, Christina was enrolled in the Fine and Performing
Arts Program, a magnet program that emphazied the technique and
development
of dance on a professional level. Christina was also part of the
Varsity
gymnastics and competition cheer squad in high school. Throughout high
school and college Christina taught all techniques of dance and
gymnastics
in NJ and MD.
In the past year, Christina has had the opportunity to
professionally
back up dancer for Baltimore/DC artists on the rise and has shared the
stage
with artists such as Chris Brown and Ne-Yo. She is a certified D.A.R.E.
dance teacher and has been a guest choreographer/instructor for
Baltimore and Anne Arunel County Public Schools. Currently
Christina is the coordinator and instructor of the magnet dance program
at Deer Park Middle Magnet School in Baltimore County Public Schools.

Jennifer Mayo
Ms.
Jennifer
started dancing at a
young age with the Sparks Recreation Council. She then went to Falls
Road Dance Studio where she later became a teacher. Jennifer also
taught at Sparks Recreation Council,Ballet Royale Academy, Company
Elite, MgM Dance Studio, Stepping Stars of Freedom Area Recreation
Council and Dance With Me preschool outreach program. Upon graduation
Jennifer attended Essex Community College where she majored in Dance
Education and earned a preschool teaching certificate.. While at Essex
College, she performed with the Dimensional Dance Media and found her
love modern dance as well as ballet. She has taken master classes with
teachers from Nadia Tikhanova of the Vaganova School in Russia, the
Merce Cunningham Dance Company; particoipated in a tap class taught by
Tommy Tune as well as choreographer Peter Pucci and Broadway star
Lester Holmes. Jennifer also studied at the Ballet Academy of Baltimore
for several years.She resides in Hampstead, Md with her husband,David
and her three boys.

Carrie Sells
Ms.
Carrie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Goucher College with a Bachelor
of Arts in Dance and a concentration in dance history and criticism.
She was chosen to perform under modern guest artist in residency, Larry
Keigwin(Keigwin and Company,NYC) as well as works choreographed by
Goucher Students and faculty. Carrie also had the opportunity to
present several original pieces of choreography through the student
concert series. During her last year she had the amazing opportunity to
study at the Pineapple Dance Center in Covent Gardens,
London, England where she took classes in all dance techniques
and was able to explore and study all aspects of the professional dance
world.
A native of Baltimore County, Carrie began her dance experience at the
age of 4 in the Prettyboy Recreation Council program directed by Mary
Mock where she studied ballet , tap and jazz. Later she studied
primarily ballet, pointe, and modern under Leslie Bradley and Dana
Martin at the Nicole Gait Center of Pennsyvannia Artsin Cockeyville,
MD. She was chosen to perform many roles in NGCPA's annual production
of the "the Nutcracker, including Spanish lead, Arabian, Merliton, and
Waltz of the Flowers corps.
This is Carrie's first year(2010-2011) at MgM
and will be bringing a lot of
excitement to her teaching.

Crystal Thomas
Ms.Crystal
has
studied ballet,tap,jazz,pointe, Hawaiian, lyrical, gymnastics and belly
dance in PA and MD. For the last 20 years she has assisted or taught in
most of the above forms of dance. Her speciality is belly dancing and
is currently leading a troupe. Recently she opened her own sewing
business (Crystal's Casbah).

Julianne
Wolfe
(Studio Manger)
Ms.Julianne
began
dancing at the age of two at the Sparks Rec Council Dance Program.
Later she moved to the Falls Road Dance Studio in Hampstead, Maryland.
When Mary open the MgM Dance Studio Julianne joined her there.(1995)
She has been dancing under the direction of Mary for 18 years and
teaching for 11. Upon graduation from High School, Julianne continued
her education at CCB where she received her AA in Secondary Education.
(2006) Currently you will see Julianne behind the desk as MgM's Studio
Manger. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband
Dave and two children, Grace and Elijah.
